UPSC Mains Exam(2014): Download E-Admit cards, exam to be held on December 14

The Union Public Service Commission has released the E-Admit cards for  (UPSC) Mains, 2014.Candidates appearing for the exam can now download the admit cards from UPSC's website by either entering their Registration Id, Roll Number or Name.
Only those aspirants, who have cleared the preliminary examination are eligible to appear for the mains exam. Mains 2014 is due to be held on December 14, 2014. UPSC will not disseminate any  admit cards, thus candidates must ensure to download and check the cards from website and bring discrepancies, if any, to the notice of UPSC before the mains exam.
With few days left for the exam, aspirants must be ready with all the required preparations for the examination. The mains examination will be a written test with a total of 1750 marks. Candidates clearing the mains examination will be called for the personal interview, which is the final selection for various posts in the UPSC, according to the grades acquired by the candidate.

UPSC CDS Exam (I) 2014 qualified by 238 candidates

UPSC CDS Exam (i) 2014 final results have been declared, as per an official notice released by the Press Information Bureau, Government of India.
A merit wise list of successful candidates qualifying the exam has been released. A total of 238 candidates have qualified the final exam on the basis of a combined result of the Combined Defence Services Examination (I)-2014 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission in February, 2014 and SSB interviews held by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence for admission to the 138th Course of Indian Military Academy, Dehradun; Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala and Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course i.e. 197th F(P) Course.
