Tamil Nadu 12th and SSLC board exam timetable 2014

Tamil Nadu 12th and SSLC board exam timetable 2014 has announced by the Directorate of Government Examinations.

The Class 12 board examinations conducted by the state board will be held from March 3 to 25, while the Class 10 exams will be conducted from March 26 to April 9. The exams will be conducted between 10.15am and 1.15pm for class 12 and between 10.15am and 12.45pm for Class 10 students. Class 12 students will receive the question paper at 10am and answer sheets five minutes later. Class 10 students will get 10 minutes to read their question papers and five minutes to fill up particulars in the answer sheets.

Anna University became a single affiliating university for engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu from August 1, 2012, when the State Government merged the five regional Anna Universities of Technology (AUTs) functioning across Tamil Nadu under Anna University, which was the state’s first technical university established in 1978.

The Anna University was split in 2007 into regional universities located in Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Tiruchi and Tirunelveli in 2007, with a view to decentralize administration of technical education and create geographical proximity with affiliated engineering colleges. At present, about 570 engineering colleges are affiliated to Anna University (Chennai) and the 12 constituent colleges under Tiruchi, Tirunelveli, Chennai and Madurai AUTs are constituent colleges under it.
